MK Sharon Roffe Ofir, was elected to the 24th Knesset on behalf of the Yisrael Beitenu Party. She has previously served as deputy council head, and worked as a journalist and senior lecturer in academic institutions for 24 years. Previously, she served as deputy Mayor of Kiriyat Tivon, in the Haifa region. She is in charge of government relations and gender equality, and is a member of WCCS (Women's Council for Civil Security) strategy group. She also worked for over 22 years as a journalist for the Yediot Ahronot Group.

One of her flagship achievements is the project entitled 'You will not force us into silence', launched on International Women's Day 2016. It became the largest investigative piece ever produced in Israel on the subject of sexual assault. Roffe Ofir was nominated for the Sokolov Prize for Investigative Journalism as a result of that project.

She is a prolific lecturer in Israel and around the world.

Roffe Ofir has a Master's degree in communications from the University of Haifa.

She was a candidate for the 23rd Knesset, as one the founding members of the 'Voice of Women' party. And was listed as number 2 in the party's electoral list.

She is the author of the best selling book “Tair”, published in 2018.

Sharon is the Chairperson of the Women's Rights Committee in the Yisrael-Beiteinu party.
