SAGIE SHARON
Sagie Sharon is a Contributor and Analyst at The MirYam Institute.
For the past decade, Sagie has advised senior leadership within Israel’s Ministry of Defense (MoD) on Middle Eastern and strategic affairs.
During his conscripted service in the IDF, Sagie first served as a combat soldier in Field Intelligence before transferring into the role of analyst within the IDF.
Within the MoD Sagie focused on strategic planning, foreign policy analysis, and geopolitical risk assessment. He has specific expertise in the Palestinian arena.
Throughout his career, Sagie has bridged the gap between complex academic research and real-world experience.
He holds a B.A. in Government, Diplomacy, and Strategy from Reichman University, with a focus on Security and Counter-Terrorism.
He is an M.A. Candidate in International Relations at Johns Hopkins University at the Schools of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
