Ruth Wasserman Lande is a public speaker, commentator and expert on the Middle East and Arab Affairs.

Ruth is a former member of Knesset and founder and co-chair of the Knesset Caucus for the promotion of the Abraham Accords; She served as Deputy Director General for International Affairs in the Federation of all Local Governments in Israel and as advisor to late President Shimon Peres for Foreign and Jewish Affairs.

As a career diplomat in the Israeli Foreign Ministry, she served for three years as Deputy Ambassador in Israel’s embassy in Cairo.

Ms. Wasserman Lande graduated Magna Cum laude from her BA in International Relations at the Bar Ilan University, Cum Laude from her MA in International Relations at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and is a Wexner Fellow, having also graduated (MA) from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government.

She has a bi-weekly column in the Jerusalem Report and is a regular commentator on the English language I24News, as well as on Hebrew Speaking Channels 15, 12, 13 and 11.

She is a board member of the Council for a Secure America (CSA), Head of Global Strategy in the Israeli National Medical Emergency Services, Magen David Adom (MDA), a senior consultant for the European Jewish Association (EJA) and a senior fellow at the Misgav Institute for National Security.

She speaks to a wide variety of audiences, in Israel and worldwide, on geo strategy, October 7th and its implications on Israel, as well as on her own path from serving as a lone soldier in the IDF to becoming a member of the Israeli parliament.
