David Benger is a research fellow at Harvard University. He is a recent graduate of Harvard Law School, where he served as the chapter president of Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under the Law, and the Events Chair of the HLS Alliance for Israel, as well as an editor on the Journal of Law and Public Policy and the HLS National Security Journal.

Previously, David was an investigative analyst at the New York DA's Major Economic Crimes Bureau, a judicial intern in the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia, and a legal assistant on a trial team at the International Criminal Court. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Russian Studies from Brandeis University and a Master of Arts in Global Affairs from Tsinghua University (Beijing) where he studied as a Schwarzman Scholar.

His commentary has been published in the Boston Globe, NY Daily News, Lawfare, Times of Israel, and elsewhere.
